During colder months, the space struggled to maintain a comfortable temperature, and the original air handling unit (AHU) provided limited heat output alongside disruptive noise from an ageing internal fan. Tailored HVAC Upgrades for Schools

Following a detailed site assessment, we partnered with VES, a specialist UK-based AHU manufacturer, to design a solution that would meet the specific needs of the hall. The result was a bespoke, energy-efficient air handling unit that features a high-output LPHW heating coil and a low-noise fan system.

The new installation brought several immediate benefits:

• Improved Heating: A more powerful heating coil ensures that large open areas like sports halls reach a comfortable temperature quickly and efficiently.

• Reduced Noise: Quiet fan operation creates a calm atmosphere essential for exams and other learning activities.

The School now benefits from a warmer, quieter, and more energy-efficient exam space that can be used confidently throughout the academic year.
